Mount Meru Hotel is situated in Arusha. It is a 1960's built 7 story building and has almost 200 rooms. On one side. the rooms overlook the pool and a golf course, and on the other side, there is a view of Mount Meru itself. The hotel has reasonably "international" standards and facilities including telephones and cable TV in every room.

The hotel is about 45 minutes drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport and will usually provide a collection delivery service for residents. The public shuttle bus service to Nairobi starts and terminates at this hotel. there are meeting and convention rooms available at this hotel and there is entertainment provided most evenings in the bar and at weekends in the restaurant.
