SERENGETI SERENA SAFARI LODGE

Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge is set high on a hill with breathtaking vistas of a landscape teeming with game. Big game feed in full view of the lodge itself. The wildlife defines the Serengeti - countless zebra, buffalo, gazelle, wildebeest and other species make it their home. The terrain is the main stage for the great wildebeest migrations, an awesome spectacle involving millions of these animals.

The lodge design is simple but stunning. Inspired by a traditional African village, separate rondavel "huts" house the luxury guest rooms. From the overall impression to the smallest detail, the lodge is rich in local atmosphere created by indigenous handicrafts and art.  There are splendid views all around- even from the swimming pool. This lodge is one of the prestige Serena group, the setting and design are excellent and the level of comfort, facilities, food and service justifies the premium price. The lodge came into operation in 1997 and has 66 double rooms.

Various activities are available including, wilderness breakfasts and lunches, evening talks by a naturalist and music and dances by local performers. Dawn balloon safaris can be arranged from this lodge.
